Hi guys
I'm sure that hardly anyone will have the time or inclination to take a look at this old blog but since today is a special day, I thought I'd make a post to you.
Why is it special? Well, it's snowing in Madrid. But not that sissy sort of snow that usually falls here. It's SNOWING in Madrid. The kids are thrilled and the cars are crashing and skidding all over the place. Pretty exciting stuff.
Anyway, I hope you are well in warm sunny Catalunya.
Take care and keep working hard on your English!!

Hi everyone
So nice to read your comments! We are fine in Madrid but still getting used to things. Samuel is VERY SAD about not having his friend Sergi. He cried tonight when he went to bed. I felt so bad. And he goes to a really small school with a tiny playground. It is all concrete. He said he misses the big playground at Pureza (in Sant Cugat) where he would play with his friends underneath the trees and climb, run, jump, etc. He did not get into Pureza in Madrid so I have to take him alone to another school. It's really hard for him and I feel bad for him too. I hope he can make a good friend!
The students in Madrid are nice and I have told them all about you. Some of them said they knew a few of you from Sant Cugat. I want to start some blogs with them soon so you can see their work and maybe "talk" to them too with the internet but I'm not sure we can do it yet. I have to talk with the director first.
And yes Sara I will organize myself and download the pictures and videos from my last day. I have been too busy with REALLY boring things like standing in line for hours at the centro de salud trying to get the tarjetas sanitarias for my children.
I'll be in touch through the blog!
Melissa
